Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you guys warranty your work?
A: We give 3 years warranty for all of our staining and refinishing work done. We cannot predict how much traffic your floors will have and what living condition is to come. We do know that in almost all cases, your floor will last a lot longer than 3 years..
Q: Are you insured?
A: This is a question that everyone must ask their contractors. We are fully insured up to 2,000,000.00 for property damage and are covered by Workers Compensation. Feel free to have us call our agent to fax or e-
A: For your convenience, we accept credit cards on jobs over $1000.00 and will cover fees on services over $2500.00 if the job is less, we won’t cover the credit card fees of 3% to 5%. We’ll also consider financing if the jobs larger than $3000+
Q: Can I trust you guys in my house?
A: Absolutely. We are there to work for you and nothing more.
1. Servicing your home and satisfying all of your flooring needs makes us feel priceless when we leave for home.
2. We would never steal or wonder around places we shouldn’t be!
3. Floorings our game, stealing is lame!
Never ever have we had any problems with any missing items in a home, so feel safe and secure when we are there. We understand that letting a complete stranger in your home to do work requires a lot of trust, and we respect and appreciate that you are inviting us into your home and would not do anything to lose that trust. We are 110% committed to working for you and for our hard earned money.
Q: Will you be using the best product on our floors?
A: We could, but that’s if you choose to go with our premium finishes, if not what we will apply to your floor is a professional grade oil base or water base polyurethane. These are for professional use, and not made for home owners to use themselves, these product are not the same cheap product you can get from Home Depot or Lowe’s.
Q: We heard that a lot of companies add paint thinner to their product to save money, is that a practice you guys do? and how would it affect our floors?
A: We do not, and will never do that, adding paint thinner is illegal in most states as it affects the VOC Law. This method also save the contractor a lot of money, but it will affect their overall work tremendously. Oil base polyurethane tainted with paint thinner will work in the contractors favor by thinning the polyurethane so they can use less while helping out with leveling while the oil is applied to the floor..
The negative is all on the home owners side, the floor will dull and wear down a lot sooner then it should because of the paint thinner, so be extra careful who you choose.. We would never do this because we care about the integrity of our work. Word of mouth is everything.
